Cargo Convoying

Cargo convoying (piloting) is a safety provision service when transporting oversized cargoes using escorting vehicles and/or Road Police vehicles.

Legion ITC has its own fleet of specially equipped escorting vehicles.We permanently cooperate with the State Road Inspections of the relevant countries in providing Road Safety State Inspection/ Road Police vehicles for convoying special oversized and heavy cargoes.

In accordance with the legislation of the relevant cargo transit countries, the cargo convoying is compulsory when one of the parameters of a trucks and trailer rig exceeds the following figures:

Length — 24 m. Width — 3.5 m. Height — 4.5 m. Weight — 60 t.

Convoying with a Road Police / Road Safety State Inspection patrol vehicle is compulsory when the oversize exceeds one of the following parameters:

Length — 30 m. Width — 4 m. Height — 5 m. Weight — 80 t.

Convoying Organization
