Oversized Cargoes
Oversized cargoes include industrial equipment, building structures, agricultural and road construction equipment, drilling rigs, various tanks, industrial parts, pipes, etc., that is, everything that exceeds the normal cargo dimensions.

If the length, width, height and total weight of the cargo exceeds the legal parameters for standard transport ((L > 20m, W > 2.55m, H > 4m, W > 38t), it passes to the class of oversized, long or heavy cargoes depending on the exceeding parameter. This means that such oversized cargoes can only be transported with special equipment and under special conditions. |

Therefore, transportation of an oversized cargo is a complex process that includes a set of specific work and documents drawing up.There is a number of requirements for the equipment, technical condition of transport facilities and cargo designation.
Specific Features of Oversized Transportation
Quite often the process of transportation organization takes more time than the oversized transportation itself. For example, an important rule exists when planning the route:the drive time should be minimal and the cargo delivery time should be as short as possible. However, a number of additional parameters are to be taken into account for oversize transportation:road capacity in terms of tonnage, presence of bridges, railways and electricity lines on the way, road remoteness from settlements, weather conditions, etc. So, every oversized transportation is complex and unique.
Special equipment for oversized cargoes transportation is impressive:superpower trucks with two or three driving axles, multiaxle semi-trailers and module wheeled platforms of various configurations and sizes allow delivering practically any cargo to the place of destination.
